Busy Birthday Freebie Kit

I have a free kit for you! I wanted to try and see if I can do a complete kit, also I’ve been busy looking around for free CU items when I started this blog and I wanted to put them to use.

I’ve decided to do a birthday kit to celebrate my birthday of course, but also because I knew I could use Sweet Aunt Anne’s Cakes by Rachness as an element base. For more doodles, you can check out her blog. Her freebies are CU, you just need to incorporate them in a kit and not share them to others as is.

So, here’s my kit. Note, the two alphas are in sheet form (instead of separated in letters), I like my alphas that way, makes it easier for me to recolor or resize together if ever I use them in a layout.

News, layouts and a template freebie~

First of all, some news! I won ‘most viewed’ entry in Pretty Scrappy’s Quick Page Team Challenge for Week 2. Thanks to all who were interested in my QP freebie. I won a $3 coupon for Inspired Mommy Designs products (thanks!)

Also, I have four new layouts! I was being a bum and was in front of my computer all day long. I was too busy scrapping I wasn’t able to watch Naruto, my other pastime =P

Layout 2: Pretty Scrappy’s What’s In The Box Challenge. The challenge was to use all items in the ‘box’. I had to recolor most of the items here so that they would match my picture.

Layout 3: Scrap Orchard’s Bring It Challenge. The challenge was to incorporate triangles into your layout. This was a bit tricky as I had no idea what to do with triangles, until I found the perfect photo to use:

I’m in!

I went through to Week 3. Yay!~ This time half of us were asked to scrap using a sampler from Cheryl’s Closet by Late Night Scraps.

New blog and a freebie!

New blog for my layouts and freebies. I hope to be able to give away freebies at least once a week.

As for now, I am currently participating in the Quickpage Team Challenge being held at Pretty Scrappy. We are now at Week 2.  I was assigned to use part of a very cute kit named Juicy Pop, made by Rachael B.  Isn’t it great?

I hope I make it to Week 3!
